Started in the Summer of 2002 as a collection of four track songs made for friends, Jacob's Stories is music made by singer songwriter Stuart Lee. To date he has released four split singles, a three song E.P, two albums (fledgling, undisciplined art), and extensivley toured the UK and America. Often compared to Hood, Sigur Ros, Talk Talk, and Radiohead, Blending sparse delicate vocals over minimal electronia, Jacob's Stories is best described as fragile and atmospheric post rock.
Live, Stuart often appears with a band, other times as just a two piece, and sometimes just on his own. In the past he has shared a stage with many varied acts such as Scott Matthews, My Latest Novel, Blood red shoes , Bat for lashes, Hood, Martha Tiltson, 65 days of static, Baby Dee, British sea power, Pelican, and Hazel O'Connor.
