- When is it taking place?
In the third weekend of May as usual, this year falling on 16th, 17th and 18th May 2008.
- Where is The Firegathering held?
On a lovely green-field site near Horsham, West Sussex. It's easily accessible, being close to Gatwick. The exact address details and travel options are sent out with the tickets.
- What are the opening/closing times?
The site opens to the public midday on the Friday and the entertainment runs until around midnight Sunday. You can stay onsite until Monday morning.
- I've bought some tickets, when do they arrive?
We post the tickets out in batches in the last fortnight before the festival.
- How much does it cost?

- Where does my ticket price go?
Your money goes straight
into providing you with a weekend of top quality entertainment and
activities. We (the organisers) don't take a penny in profit.
- Can I bring the kids?
Absolutely! 6-17 years olds will need a youth ticket, 5s and under go free with the appropriate ticket.
- I'm in a band and would like to play at The Firegathering.
Send us and email with some details about your band and ideally a link to your Myspace page. Unfortunately we get so many requests that we can't reply to everyone. If we think there's a suitable slot for your band, you'll hear from us in due course.
- Can I get a day ticket?
No, sorry we "don't do day tickets".
- I'm turning up with children - is there a quiet area to camp in?
We have a new camping field this year which is adjacent to the main field. The corner furthest from the entertainment is reserved for quiet camping.
- Can I volunteer for work?
Please fill crew out this crew application form and you will be contacted within 2 weeks.
- Can I bring my dog?
No, sorry, no animals are allowed on site.
