The Firegathering Festival is located on a beautiful farm site on the Sussex-Surrey border. Full address and travel details for the site are posted to ticket holders along with the tickets in the fortnight before the festival.
The Firegathering site is accessible by car, train and we'll also be running a bus from Brighton. Some example journeys are given below:
The Big Lemon Bus Company will be running buses from Brighton to the site at the beginning of the festival and taking people home after the weekend. The buses run on 100% locally-sourced used cooking oil in order to minimise their impact on the environment. Bus tickets are subsidised by us and priced at £3 per journey purchased in advance through our tickets page. Space permitting you will alternatively be able to buy a bus ticket as you board the vehicle priced at £5 per journey.

We strongly advise that those travelling from Brighton use the bus service as the easiest and cheapest way to travel to and from the event.
Direct trains run from London Victoria to Ockley station approximately twice per hour - the last train on Friday night departs from Victoria at 19:20. A free shuttle bus service will take you to the festival from Ockley station, providing a connection from all trains leaving London after 15:30.
After the Ockley trains finish, you will need to catch a train to Dorking where a free shuttle bus will be making trips to and from the festival between 21:00 and 23:00. Please try to arrive in time for the Ockley connection as spaces on the Dorking bus will be limited.
To return on Sunday a free shuttle bus will be taking passengers to Dorking station between 14:00 and 23:00.
Please note that we have changed the connection station from Three Bridges to Dorking so that passengers can buy a return ticket to Ockley and still use it on any Dorking-London train.
All cars entering The Firegathering site will be required to have purchased a car parking ticket in advance at a cost of £10. This is designed primarily to encourage the most efficient use of vehicles, minimising our environmental impact. Funds raised from this will be used in efforts to lower the carbon footprint of The Firegathering. With the proceeds of the car parking ticket sales we will be providing a free shuttle bus to the local train stations and subsidising a bus service to and from Brighton, powered entirely with used cooking oil.
Directions to the site will be posted along with your tickets in the fortnight before the festival.
